TL;DR
Oncology Nurse Navigator (Oncology Nursing): Providing personalized education, care coordination, and clinical support for members throughout cancer treatment and survivorship with an accent on comprehensive assessments, evidence-based guidance, and multidisciplinary coordination. Focus on managing active oncology caseloads, addressing psychosocial and logistical barriers, and maintaining accurate documentation and quality standards.

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX or New York, NY, with three office days per week; candidates must be based in the Dallas or New York City area. Remote days require a private, secure home workspace free from other employment, caregiving, or school obligations during working hours. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST or 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. EST.

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 base annually, plus bonus, depending on location, level, and relevant experience.

What you will do

  • Manage an active caseload of members with cancer diagnoses from diagnosis through survivorship.
  • Conduct oncology intake assessments and provide individualized education on diagnoses, treatment options, clinical pathways, and available resources.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care and communication among members, treating providers, nurses, social workers, care advocates, and other partners.
  • Identify psychosocial, financial, and logistical barriers to care and connect members with appropriate support resources.
  • Document member interactions and clinical activities accurately in the care management platform.
  • Participate in case reviews, call audits, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives while following clinical workflows and documentation standards.

Requirements

  • BSN degree and active RN license in a compact state, with unencumbered ability to be licensed in all 50 states.
  • Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience.
  • Active ONCC certification as OCN, CPHON, or CBCN, with the ability to maintain certification throughout employment.
  • Familiarity with NCCN guidelines and ClinicalTrials.gov.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in the required hybrid arrangement while based in the Dallas or New York City area.
