State Bid Manager - Adoptions, Bids, and Proposals

Location: US Remote

Salary: $69,250–$118,250 per year, plus eligibility for the company bonus plan.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of state bid submissions for math, science, and ELA instructional materials adoptions.
• Build project plans and schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, and keep submissions on track.
• Design organizational systems and process documentation to improve adoption workflows and information sharing.
• Identify delivery risks, develop mitigation strategies, and track state requirements and correspondence.
• Run weekly project status meetings, distribute agendas and minutes, and track action items.
• Prepare, print, bind, and ship compliant, accurate state bid submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in educational publishing, preferably with an Adoptions or RFP team at a K–12 publisher.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Expertise with project management software and processes.
• Experience managing cross-functional work across large, diverse teams.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
