Manager, Cybersecurity (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in Australia. Valid Australian work rights are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Contract: Fixed-term position for up to ten months, with a possible extension to one year.

What you will do

• Assess, improve, and monitor cybersecurity maturity across assigned operating companies.
• Evaluate local privacy, regulatory, and contractual requirements and align them with global security standards.
• Develop remediation roadmaps and action plans for identified security gaps.
• Support implementation of cybersecurity controls, standards, and procedures.
• Advise on governance, risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, data protection, identity and access management, and third-party risk.
• Create SOPs, templates, checklists, and guidance for consistent cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent field.
• 8+ years of relevant ICT cybersecurity experience.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and risk management principles.
• Experience assessing and improving cybersecurity maturity programs.
• Knowledge of security governance, compliance, vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, and data protection.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a global environment.
