What you will do
- Develop and execute APAC cybersecurity strategies aligned with corporate policies, regional regulations, and business objectives.
- Establish security policies, standards, procedures, governance initiatives, and performance reporting frameworks.
- Conduct security risk assessments, identify threats and vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies and controls.
- Support regional incident response, post-incident reviews, continuous improvement, and security resilience initiatives.
- Develop security awareness programs and communicate emerging threats and best practices to employees, contractors, and third-party partners.
- Assess vendor and partner risks, coordinate security audits, and manage remediation of audit findings with Procurement and Legal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Significant experience in information security management, cybersecurity compliance, risk assessment, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance frameworks, controls, regulatory requirements, and emerging cyber threats.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders, influencing business outcomes, and leading security initiatives.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, the Australian Essential Eight Maturity Model, the Australian Information Security Manual, and the Defence Industry Security Program.
