Senior Solutions Architect, US Government (Aerospace)

Location: Remote in the United States, based in Washington, District of Columbia. Flexible working arrangements may include hybrid remote/in-office schedules.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, challenges, and objectives.
• Design and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, solution architectures, and implementation strategies.
• Partner with sales teams during pre-sales engagements, technical proposals, customer pilots, and validation processes.
• Create customer-facing technical content, including reference architectures and solution briefs.
• Guide customers through technical evaluations and help build business cases.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide market feedback and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, networking principles, and modern software architectures.
• Technical foundation in satellite and wireless communications, with understanding of spectrum management or network orchestration.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or satellite communications.
• Familiarity with software-defined networking and network orchestration platforms.
• Background in proposal development, technical writing, government, or defense contracting.
