Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

Location: Hybrid with 3 days onsite per week at hirify.global offices in Jacksonville, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

What you will do

• Design and maintain monitoring for infrastructure, application performance, and user experience.
• Build automation for infrastructure scaling, operational tasks, and reliable deployments.
• Improve application reliability, availability, performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
• Lead incident identification, triage, resolution, post-incident analysis, and on-call support.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, disaster recovery plans, and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with security, development, QA, DevOps, and product teams on reliability and incident response.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SRE or cloud engineering.
• Strong Linux systems and networking experience with hands-on AWS Cloud Platform expertise.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Harness; Docker; Kubernetes or EKS; and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana, plus SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Required certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner and either AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
