Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; onsite at the hirify.global Fort Worth Distribution Center

Salary: USD $23.20–$29.00 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and restore complex mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on distribution center equipment.
• Replace worn or defective parts and coordinate with operations staff to minimize downtime.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, including tracking and ordering replacement components.
• Perform general building maintenance involving lighting, plumbing, and grounds upkeep.
• Assign tasks, monitor work quality, advise team members on equipment use, and report work-order progress to leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of power tools, maintenance equipment, technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs; CMMS experience is a plus.
• Current driver's license and current forklift certification required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, stand for extended periods, and perform hands-on repairs.

Nice to have

• Experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with chemicals or industrial compounds.
