Software Engineer (C++)

What you will do

• Develop and troubleshoot multidisciplinary software and hardware systems for semiconductor inspection products.
• Design and implement large-scale software using C++, object-oriented principles, and system-level programming.
• Build and optimize multithreaded and multiprocess applications for Windows and Linux.
• Investigate complex system issues through debugging, performance profiling, memory optimization, and system analysis.
• Apply software development lifecycle practices across analysis, design, development, and unit testing.
• Travel to customer sites on short notice when software troubleshooting is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 3+ years or a doctorate with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Extensive C++ development experience, including object-oriented design, software architecture, and system-level programming.
• Experience with multithreading, multiprocessing, memory management, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on application development experience on Windows and/or Linux.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
• Knowledge of relational database design patterns, SDLC practices, analytical problem-solving, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of STL, Boost, WinDBG, and Windows internals.
• Domain knowledge of semiconductor process control or wafer inspection.
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies that accelerate development and testing.
