Consultant Senior - IBS Loan Conversions (Fintech)

Salary: $81,850–$139,150 per year

What you will do

• Lead loan system conversion engagements, including data mapping, validation, testing, and implementation.
• Analyze client loan portfolios, operational processes, and data structures to define conversion requirements.
• Create field-level data mappings, workflow documentation, requirements, and testing outcomes.
• Conduct client workshops and interviews, facilitate training, and guide configuration, setup, adoption, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate clients and technical teams while managing project timelines, risks, deliverables, and concurrent engagements.
• Identify and resolve data, process, and system issues to ensure accurate implementation outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in loan operations, including commercial or mortgage lending processes.
• Experience with data conversion, migration, or system implementation in financial services.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data mappings.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders, plus the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBS Loan systems or similar core banking platforms.
• Knowledge of secondary mortgage market practices, including FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA reporting.
• Experience with data validation tools, testing frameworks, or automation practices.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants or supporting team delivery.
