Consultant Senior - IBS Loan Conversions (Fintech)

Salary: $81,850–$139,150 per year

What you will do

• Lead loan system conversion engagements, including data mapping, validation, testing, and implementation activities.
• Analyze loan portfolios, operational processes, and data structures to define conversion requirements.
• Develop field-level data mappings, workflow documentation, and testing outcomes.
• Conduct client workshops and interviews, and serve as the liaison between financial institution clients and technical transformation teams.
• Lead readiness reviews, system training, configuration guidance, and client adoption activities.
• Manage concurrent projects, timelines, risks, deliverables, and data or system issues through go-live.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in loan operations, including commercial or mortgage lending.
• Experience with data conversion, migration, or system implementation in financial services.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data mappings.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, plus the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBS Loan systems or similar core banking platforms.
• Knowledge of secondary mortgage market practices, including FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA reporting.
• Experience with data validation tools, testing frameworks, or automation practices.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants or supporting team delivery.
