TL;DR
Data Analyst (Insurance) (Power BI/SQL/Python): Building and maintaining insurance performance reports, automated data processes, and dynamic dashboards for sales and lead management with an accent on actionable customer behavior, sales channel, and campaign analytics. Focus on automating reporting workflows, translating business questions into analytical insights, and optimizing insurance sales processes through data-driven recommendations.
Location: Brussels, Belgium; current residency in Belgium required. Hybrid work with 50% of the time at the Marnix office.

What you will do
- Build and maintain insurance KPI reports using Cognos, Power BI, SAS, SQL, and Python.
- Create, automate, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly data processes supporting linked reports.
- Modify and introduce metrics in data packages and processes in collaboration with business experts and data stakeholders.
- Analyze customer, sales channel, lead management, and campaign performance metrics.
- Build dynamic Power BI dashboards for insurance sales and lead management.
- Provide actionable insights, reporting, and data guidance to Customer Journey Experts, Content Managers, sales teams, and product development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business administration, computer science, statistics, or a related field, or at least 3 years of equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of demonstrable data analysis experience with tools such as SAS, Excel, Cognos, Power BI, or Python.
- SQL experience is required.
- Current residency in Belgium is required.
- Fluent English is required.
- Ability to perform sharp analyses, translate business questions into analytical questions, and communicate clear, visually appealing results.
Nice to have
- Dutch and/or French language skills.
- Experience with insurance data or the insurance value chain.
