VP Cloud Data Analytics Architecture (Azure)

Location: Arlington, TX, United States (Hybrid); three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead the Enterprise Cloud Data Analytics Architecture, tools, and platforms teams.
• Design and deliver enterprise cloud data, analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions using Azure and Databricks.
• Oversee data flows, integrations, pipelines, APIs, microservices, event-driven processes, metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Define architecture standards and solutions supporting reporting, data science, marketing, customer experience, finance, and treasury.
• Scale and manage global Agile teams of AI, machine learning, analytics architects, and full-stack data engineers.
• Partner with executives, business teams, technology leaders, vendors, and service providers to deliver strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building enterprise-scale cloud architecture, integrations, and analytics solutions.
• 7–10 years of experience managing cloud data architecture teams and leading organizations.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, Cosmos DB, and Service Bus.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, data pipelines, cloud MDM, CDC, data lineage, metadata management, APIs, web services, and event-driven architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud data security, governance, data engineering, data DevOps, and data DevSecOps in financial institutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; master’s degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAS, R, Ruby, Java, or C.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Informatica, Oracle, Teradata, or DB2.
