Linux Systems Administrator

Location: Office-based in Bucharest, Romania; Montreal, Canada; or Paris, France

What you will do

• Administer Linux systems, including installation, maintenance, upgrades, performance optimization, and application patching.
• Design and maintain infrastructure for live gaming services across public and private cloud environments.
• Develop and deploy solutions using AWS, GCP, and OpenStack.
• Apply security practices, maintain databases, write documentation, and create standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system events, troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues, and support service availability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate with development teams and partners.

Requirements

• First professional experience in System Administration or DevOps.
• Deep knowledge of GNU/Linux administration and experience supporting critical, customer-facing production environments.
• Experience with Git, branching, merging, integration, and versioning concepts.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana, or Kibana, and with databases including Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Vault, or Azure AD.
• Strong networking knowledge and advanced troubleshooting experience.
