Software Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - Canada

Salary: CA$230,000–CA$260,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Define and drive software architecture across the product portfolio, establishing principles, frameworks, and standards.
• Deliver critical architectural initiatives hands-on, ensuring scalability, reliability, extensibility, and maintainability.
• Lead design reviews and align architecture across Product and engineering teams.
• Drive research and proof-of-concept delivery for AI-powered security solutions and intelligent automation.
• Partner with business stakeholders and provide technical leadership to development and test engineering teams.
• Participate in on-call support, troubleshoot critical production issues, and lead root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant software architecture and engineering experience.
• Expertise in cloud-native SaaS architectures, large-scale data platforms, and data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of big data and streaming technologies such as Elastic, Kafka, and Spark.
• Deep AWS cloud infrastructure experience, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mastery of microservices, enterprise-scale SaaS applications, data storage methods, and endpoint agents.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and hands-on technical delivery skills.
