Engineer Traveller Support (.NET)

What you will do

• Provide second-level support for Global Blue traveller solutions.
• Own one TravellerHost UoV service as the subject matter expert, covering its architecture, operations, dependencies, and support processes.
• Improve service monitoring with operational management tools, including Splunk.
• Automate deployment and maintenance of traveller solutions and release software to production and non-production environments.
• Plan, document, and perform service changes while creating impact analyses and operational procedures.
• Investigate incidents with internal and external partners, identify root causes, and drive problem-management activities.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience supporting business applications in medium- or large-scale environments, with automation, configuration management, and deployment scripting.
• Ability to maintain and query relational databases using MS SQL.
• Experience with JavaScript, C#, .NET Core Web API, JSON, HTTPS, Angular, web services, and basic web server administration.
• Ability to create automation scripts using PowerShell or Python and collaborate with software development teams or outsourcing contractors.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with data engineering and processing, including SQL, SSAS, ETL, or Azure Data Services.
• ITIL or Splunk certification.
• Understanding of point-of-sale technology and transactional systems.
• Experience working in an international environment.
