Senior Network & Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and support network transformation and network operations solutions.
• Provide daily support for networks, firewalls, and operational infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network failures, assess incidents, and implement changes to maintain stability and functionality.
• Analyze operational issues, document remediation activities, and update procedures during active events.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems, evolve system roadmaps, and make critical technical decisions.
• Provide clear technical updates and reports to management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience deploying, configuring, and architecting routing, switching, and network security technologies, including 3 years in customer-facing roles.
• Experience with large data center or enterprise networks, physical and virtual appliances, and private or public cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of STP, Nexus vPC, IPsec, SSL VPN, VRF, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, multi-homed environments, load balancing, DNS, IPS/IDS, and next-generation firewall capabilities.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HP, Aruba, and CATO technologies, including firewall, routing, switching, SASE, wireless, and security solutions.
• Minimum CCNA or comparable knowledge, a relevant degree or equivalent technical training, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass, Aruba switches and wireless, Cisco Firepower Services, Palo Alto security services, Azure, AWS, and SSL/TLS technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience working with local government, service providers, or enterprise customers.
• Fortinet NSE 6 and NSE 7 certifications.
