Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore; 12-hour shift pattern; no travel required

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion on sputtering tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and follow up on chronic machine problems.
• Work with equipment and process engineering on tool reliability and product defect reduction.
• Initiate projects to improve equipment OEE, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Use data analytics and machine learning applications for equipment troubleshooting.
• Develop expertise in vacuum technology through training and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or a Diploma/ITE qualification.
• Knowledge or experience in mechanical systems or electronics.
• Good problem-solving skills and a positive, self-motivated working attitude.
• Willingness to work in a clean room environment and on a 12-hour shift pattern.
• Data analysis and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
