QA Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for critical business workflows and regression scenarios.
• Test REST APIs, including requests, responses, integrations, error handling, and overall system behavior.
• Identify, document, reproduce, track, and validate defects; participate in triage and targeted regression testing.
• Support beta testing, User Acceptance Testing, final validation, sign-off, and communication of testing status, risks, and blockers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or related roles, including web application testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with functional, regression, and automated testing.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or a comparable automation framework.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and validating integrations and error scenarios.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, regression suites, and managing defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Professional English proficiency, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Accessibility testing knowledge and familiarity with WCAG standards.
• CI/CD-integrated testing, basic SQL, and database validation experience.
• Experience with complex integrations, multi-system workflows, responsive and cross-browser testing.
• Experience supporting distributed Agile/Scrum teams, beta releases, and user-feedback validation cycles.
