Software Test Engineer - LATAM-Remote (Python)

Location: Remote within Latin America, including Mexico

What you will do

• Perform hands-on manual testing of web, SaaS, and mobile applications.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios across functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
• Reproduce, investigate, and document defects with clear, actionable details.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for test automation, data validation, and QA activities.
• Use API testing tools to validate backend services and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues and improve testing coverage.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with manual software testing for web, SaaS, and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices, including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, bug reproduction, and defect reporting.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or data validation.
• Experience with or understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with agentic coding or AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Codex, or similar technologies.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency; B2+ or C1 required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or Mailosaur.
