Focus on developing category strategies, negotiating complex contracts, managing supplier risk, and delivering sustainable cost savings across CAPEX and OPEX projects.

What you will do
- Develop and execute indirect procurement category strategies aligned with global frameworks and regional priorities.
- Conduct market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, cost trend analysis, RFx processes, negotiations, and contract development.
- Identify cost savings, productivity improvements, supplier consolidation, material standardization, and cross-site synergies.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, evaluations, business reviews, risk assessments, supply continuity, and compliance.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into sourcing and contracting solutions.
- Ensure procurement activities follow corporate governance, ethical standards, procurement policies, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; an advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 10 years of procurement experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with CAPEX/OPEX projects, statements of work, RFQs, and service delivery models.
- Strong RFx, cost modeling, total cost of ownership, complex contract negotiation, ERP, and eSourcing experience.
- Experience in vendor risk management, supplier relationship management, and continuous improvement.
- Fluent English and Japanese are required.
Nice to have
- Lean or Six Sigma experience.
- CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, PMP, or equivalent certification.
