Functional Business Analyst (Receivables/Factoring)

Location: Remote within Spain time zone; CET working hours.

What you will do

• Define and evolve a Global Receivables platform with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Agile development teams.
• Act as the interface between Business, Operations, and Technology, translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead workshops with Accounting and Regulatory Reporting teams to define solutions.
• Support and execute User Acceptance Testing and validate delivered functionality against business requirements.
• Coordinate external functional consultants and maintain functional and product Operating Model documentation.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, financial execution, and workstream budget.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst or Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Finance, Receivables, and Factoring products, plus Banking Back Office processes.
• Understanding of accounting processes, accounting integration, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, User Acceptance Testing, functional documentation, presentations, and business requirements.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken, are required.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and consultant coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or coordinating external consultants.
• Knowledge of programming languages or technical concepts.
