2nd Shift Plant Superintendent (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing operations across the assigned second shift and oversee multiple production lines or departments.
• Direct production supervisors and support personnel across materials, quality, and maintenance functions.
• Monitor KPIs and achieve daily productivity, efficiency, cost, quality, safety, and EOE objectives.
• Drive initiatives that improve productivity, reduce waste, scrap, rework, idle time, and non-conformities.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and other functions to resolve operational issues.
• Develop shift supervisors and support continuous improvement, teamwork, and effective personnel administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with strategic leadership, operational planning, analytical performance management, and cross-functional communication.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage inventory, assets, departments, and manufacturing performance objectives.
• Ability to work on-site in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, during the second shift.
