Graduate Full Stack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Milton Keynes Office, hybrid working in the United Kingdom

What you will do

• Deliver scoped full-stack features end to end with support from experienced engineers.
• Develop Kotlin/Java Spring Boot microservices, REST/OpenAPI APIs, and integrations with services and data stores.
• Build React/TypeScript frontend features using shared design system components and modern architectural patterns.
• Containerise backend services on Azure Container Apps and deploy web applications through Azure Static Web Apps.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to prototype, iterate, and deliver customer-facing features.
• Use GitHub Copilot and Claude Code responsibly, validating generated code and understanding every committed change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Demonstrated capabilities through academic projects, internships, hackathons, research, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
• Curiosity, problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, ownership, and willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including readiness to work across frontend and backend specialisms.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving and evolving environment and apply feedback from reviews, pairing, and one-to-ones.
