What you will do

• Lead larger production projects from scoping through implementation and release.
• Select and apply suitable modelling approaches across hirify.global's measurement product suite.
• Debug and resolve bugs and queries independently across unfamiliar repositories.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate coding, unblock product and engineering dependencies, and build automation workflows.
• Work effectively with automated QA tooling and identify gaps in test coverage.
• Communicate modelling decisions to clients and colleagues, review code and methodology, and support junior colleagues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of commercial data science experience with models shipped to production.
• Strong machine learning knowledge across multiple algorithm families and sound modelling judgement.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, including production-level software development.
• Ability to debug independently, understand problems fully, and use AI tooling responsibly.
• Confident communication with clients and stakeholders as a technical modelling authority.
• Initiative, attention to detail, and readiness to mentor less experienced colleagues.

Nice to have

• Bayesian modelling experience, particularly hierarchical models.
• AWS or comparable cloud tooling experience.
• Familiarity with automated QA tooling and test coverage practices.
• Experience with marketing, ecommerce, or advertising data.
