Information Security Engineer - Insider Risk (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace

Salary: $145,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Engineer and automate end-to-end detection and investigation workflows.
• Develop alerting and detection strategies for malicious, anomalous, and insider-risk behavior.
• Analyze network, host, memory, and other artifacts across operating systems and applications.
• Investigate enterprise security events and active attacks, identifying sophisticated threats and behavioral patterns.
• Influence security controls protecting critical assets and help strengthen the company’s network defense posture.
• Collaborate with the Information Security team on detection and response improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of security experience with a major platform such as AWS, Azure, Windows, macOS, or Linux.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or a similar language.
• Experience with endpoint telemetry and log sources from at least one major operating system.
• Experience with common SIEM/SOAR platforms and writing queries against security event data.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
• Background in incident response, detection engineering, digital forensics, or threat intelligence.
