Senior Information Security Ops Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $135,000–$175,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead incident response activities, including triage, investigation, containment, eradication, root cause analysis, remediation, and post-incident reviews.
• Mentor junior security analysts and develop their technical and investigative capabilities.
• Design, implement, assess, and optimize enterprise security controls, including gap analyses and improvement recommendations.
• Advance the information security program through process improvements, tool optimization, and capability building.
• Research and operationalize AI/ML solutions for threat detection, anomaly identification, and security automation.
• Conduct threat analysis, develop indicators of compromise, maintain documentation, and collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on information security operations experience.
• 5+ years of incident response and forensics experience covering triage, analysis, containment, and eradication.
• Expertise in security controls design, implementation, and assessment, plus experience maturing security programs.
• Experience mentoring junior security professionals and working under pressure with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent.
• Experience with SIEM, endpoint detection and response, and security orchestration tools.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI/ML, threat hunting, data science techniques, or enterprise platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, CrowdStrike, or Sentinel.
• Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting experience for security automation.
• Application security and code review experience.
• Experience securing AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Security industry speaking, publishing, or thought leadership experience.
