US Region Cybersecurity Platform Service Governance Owner

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Salary: $170,000–$195,000 annually for the Chicago market, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Provide governance oversight for U.S. Region cybersecurity platform services across application, cloud, endpoint, and network security.
• Define service visions, strategies, roadmaps, priorities, metrics, escalation paths, and accountability models.
• Align cybersecurity services with enterprise standards, regulatory obligations, risk frameworks, controls, and audit requirements.
• Oversee service enhancements, feature delivery, operational requirements, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with enterprise security, technology, risk, compliance, business, and third-party service stakeholders.
• Review AI and quantum-related initiatives and recommend secure, compliant, risk-informed implementation approaches.

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, or security service management.
• Governance or oversight experience in application, cloud, endpoint, or network security.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, control frameworks, regulatory expectations, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing service strategies, roadmaps, prioritization, operational governance, KPIs, KRIs, SLAs, and control effectiveness measures.
• Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, and business teams.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience or experience in another highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with U.S. cybersecurity and technology risk regulatory expectations.
• Experience with enterprise security services, shared-service models, or third-party security providers.
• Knowledge of AI governance, emerging AI risks, responsible technology adoption, audit readiness, and control maturity improvement.
