Real Estate Portfolio Manager (Telecom)

Location: Carlsbad, California; Englewood, Colorado; Tempe, Arizona; or Duluth, Georgia. Travel within the Americas is required approximately 10–20%.

Salary: $107,000–$169,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $133,000–$200,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage and optimize a corporate real estate portfolio of offices, warehouses, laboratories, and serviced locations across the Americas.
• Lead end-to-end transactions, including acquisitions, renewals, expansions, subleases, and terminations.
• Manage site selection, financial analysis, heads of terms, lease negotiations, and transaction execution.
• Develop financial models, business cases, budgets, and executive reporting on portfolio performance.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, Insurance, Facilities, business leaders, brokers, landlords, and external advisors.
• Improve real estate processes and data management using AI and digital tools.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of corporate real estate experience, including multi-country portfolios and end-to-end transactions.
• Advanced Excel-based financial modeling and analytical skills, including graphing and pivot tables.
• Strong knowledge of commercial leases, landlord and tenant relationships, legal terms, lease accounting, and financial reporting impacts.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with lease administration and portfolio management systems such as CoStar.
• Fluent English and US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.

Nice to have

• Experience managing portfolios across North and South America.
• Real estate designations such as MCR, SIOR, or CCIM.
• Knowledge of international real estate regulations and market practices.
• CAD or workplace planning tools experience.
• Experience in telecom, technology, or infrastructure-heavy organizations.
