Annual salary: $70,000–$100,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus an aggressive bonus structure.

What you will do

  • Identify and pursue land acquisition opportunities aligned with housing demand and division growth objectives.
  • Lead negotiations with landowners, brokers, developers, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate opportunities through financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments.
  • Structure transactions to maximize profitability while reducing financial and operational risk.
  • Coordinate entitlement, environmental, engineering, and legal reviews through contract execution and closing.
  • Present acquisition recommendations to senior leadership and maintain relationships across the real estate industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, finance, urban planning, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Five to seven years of progressive experience in land acquisition, development, real estate, or homebuilding.
  • Ability to independently manage complex transactions and make sound business recommendations.
  • Strong judgment in balancing risk, profitability, and strategic business objectives.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to sit for most of an eight-hour workday and perform the physical and sensory requirements of the role.
