Hiring Private Equity Accounting Professionals

What you will do

• Manage daily fund accounting activities, including journal entries, management fee calculations, accrued expense reimbursements, and investment valuations.
• Prepare financial and investor reports, MIS reports, NAV packages, financial statements, and partners’ capital statements.
• Process capital calls and distributions, prepare waterfall files, cash projections, and wire instructions.
• Set up funds, investments, alternative investment vehicles, and partners in the accounting system.
• Coordinate with client service teams, support audits, resolve breaks, and communicate financial information accurately and on time.
• Support the transition of new clients and processes into ongoing service delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in private equity fund accounting or related accounting operations.
• Knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ability to prepare financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with NAV calculations, fee calculations, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall files.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, management teams, and internal audit stakeholders.
