What you will do
- Maintain accounting records for assigned private funds, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare capital call and distribution notices, partner allocations, investor reports, capital account statements, and performance metrics.
- Produce financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
- Develop expertise in fund structures, transactions, and reporting requirements to deliver accurate client deliverables on time.
- Build relationships with clients, investors, auditors, and professional advisers while supporting reporting and audit processes.
- Contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency initiatives, and enhancements to internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in fund accounting, finance, or a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Strong accounting knowledge and practical application of accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems and technology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
Nice to have
- CPA qualification or a master’s degree.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
