Manufacturing Quality Assurance (QA) Lead - Shanghai

Location: Shanghai, China; full-time on-site role

What you will do

• Own and oversee the local ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, including nonconformance management, CAPA, change control, training, risk management, and validation.
• Ensure effective training management and provide quality assurance support for manufacturing production issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain on shipment holds, product investigations, field actions, and supplier quality processes.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and QC inspection activities and approve inspection plans.
• Monitor quality and customer experience metrics, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement.
• Lead site audit preparation, hosting, follow-up actions, customer quality interactions, and design transfer activities.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ISO compliance, and/or Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or a similar standard.
• Experience preparing for and hosting audits.
• Experience with QMS processes such as change control, training management, nonconformance management, CAPA, design control, risk management, or validation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with cross-functional and global teams.
