Consultant, Data and AI Scientist

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week onsite at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Deliver advanced data analytics and research to support business decisions and senior management.
• Apply statistical techniques, machine learning, and optimization methods for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Design and build AI agents that automate business insight generation and decision support.
• Lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex analytics and visualization solutions.
• Assess business problems, evaluate data credibility and quality, and identify revenue-generating and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners and communicate actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
• At least 2 years of experience with Azure Databricks.
• At least 1–2 years of experience with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• At least 4 years of experience with SQL and Python.
• Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, or business, or equivalent experience.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience working in capital markets or equities.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
