Senior Data and AI Specialist

Location: Remote, based in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta, Canada. Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.

Salary: CAD 99,760–124,700 annually, plus a target bonus of 12.5%.

What you will do

• Architect, test, and deploy LLMs, agents, and AI orchestration frameworks for complex, unstructured data investigations.
• Build Python-based automations, single-user tools, and multi-user workflows that replace repetitive manual processes.
• Query and analyze complex telecommunications datasets to optimize gross margins, reduce fraud, improve billing accuracy, and enhance network quality.
• Design dashboards and repeatable BI solutions with Tableau, Looker, or Python, and define performance KPIs.
• Collaborate with Carrier Relations, Enterprise Technology, Product, Supply Operations, and Finance on data requirements, governance, and scalable data products.
• Own data products end to end, from requirements and documentation through execution, communication, and delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing technical data and automation solutions.
• Extensive experience with SQL, relational database schemas, and data management, governance, and hygiene.
• Extensive experience with Google Sheets or Excel, Tableau, and/or Looker.
• Experience using Python, APIs, or workflow platforms such as Airtable, Coefficient, Zapier, or n8n.
• Experience building agents with platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini, and training LLM models for complex, multi-step, unstructured problems.
• Must be based in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience in telecom, messaging, voice networks, SaaS, technology, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience with project management and communicating requirements to data teams.
• Experience working with customers, vendors, and external partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to break down business problems.
