What you will do

• Own the end-to-end hybrid identity architecture spanning on-premises Active Directory, Entra ID, and Entra Connect or Cloud Sync.
• Design and document identity reference architectures covering authentication flows, trust topologies, forest and domain design, and tenant strategy.
• Configure and optimize SSO, SAML/OIDC federation, application registrations, enterprise applications, App Proxy, B2B/B2C, dynamic groups, and Entra ID Governance.
• Automate identity operations with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Partner with SecOps on identity threat detection, incident response, and attacks such as Golden Ticket, password spray, and token theft.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex identity incidents and outages while establishing standards, reviewing designs, documenting solutions, and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in the field.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Expertise in hybrid identity architecture, Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect or Cloud Sync, and identity governance.
• Strong documentation, communication, incident response, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, own problems through root-cause resolution, and mentor engineers.

• Experience briefing executives and translating complex identity concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Calm, decisive communication during outages and security incidents.
