What you will do

• Take technical ownership of the development and deployment lifecycle for robotic grasping and manipulation algorithms.
• Design and implement robust, efficient, production-ready algorithms for industrial robotics.
• Research and scope innovative solutions for grasping and manipulation in real-world manufacturing environments.
• Translate partner requirements into reliable technical outcomes and integrate software into complex industrial applications.
• Define architecture and long-term strategy for robotics software supporting global industrial deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to the strategic roadmap, and drive the evolution of the robotics software stack.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 8+ years of robotics experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in robotic grasp planning.
• 2 years of leading substantial, ambiguous technical projects from inception through deployment.
• Strong knowledge of linear algebra, spatial transformations, and rigid body dynamics.
• 6 years of professional robotics software programming experience in C++ and Python, with production-quality code delivery.
• Experience applying machine learning in robotics.

Nice to have

• PhD in Robotics and Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or a related field focused on robotic manipulation, grasp planning, or motion planning.
• Deep expertise with JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience developing the full robotics stack, including kinematics, motion generation, system integration, and testing.
