Continuous Improvement/Change Agent - 2nd Shift (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan; onsite five days per week. Monday–Thursday, 3:30 pm–2:00 am.

Annual base salary: $72,611.66–$101,394.99.

What you will do

• Drive Lean transformation and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
• Map processes and review procedures and controls to identify waste and improvement opportunities.
• Plan and execute Rapid Improvement Events and Just Do Its to improve productivity.
• Train and coach line leaders and office staff on Lean principles, problem-solving behaviors, standardized work, flow, zero defects, and visual management.
• Ensure engagement and collaboration before, during, and after Rapid Improvement Events.
• Collaborate with the Senior Change Agent, department managers, and supervisors to resolve implementation and maintenance issues.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in Lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated success training, coaching, and developing others in Lean tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• Ability to work onsite in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Monday–Thursday on the second shift.
