Technical Instructor

Location: Dublin, Ireland or Prague, Czech Republic; primarily in-office with 50%–75% travel required

What you will do

• Deliver technical training to employees, partners, and customers across EMEA through in-person and virtual instructor-led classes.
• Develop and update technical courseware, learning activities, assessments, storyboards, and lab scenarios.
• Collaborate with content creators, L&D colleagues, vendors, and business stakeholders to align learning solutions with development needs.
• Learn and teach evolving storage and networking technologies with minimal supervision.
• Collect feedback, monitor learning effectiveness, and recommend improvements to education programs.
• Prepare practical, cost-effective recommendations covering audiences, delivery methods, timing, and required travel.

Requirements

• BSc degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical training and/or content development focused on storage or networking.
• Proficiency with Linux OS and CLI, hardware configuration, fibre channel, iSCSI, and networking fundamentals.
• Expert presentation and facilitation skills, including whiteboarding, webinars, and virtual instructor-led training.
• Experience with content development and architecting lab scenarios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, independent working ability, and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Solaris, Linux, Windows, VMware, LANs, WANs, and storage area networks.
• Knowledge of SSD and Flash SAN/NAS storage.
• Previous technical or customer support experience.
