Technology Cyber Security Architect (AI Security)

Annual salary: $120,000–$175,000; senior-level candidates may be eligible for a higher range.

What you will do

• Design and maintain enterprise security architecture across on-premises, hybrid, and AI-enabled environments.
• Define security standards, patterns, reference architectures, and controls aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Review architectures for systems, applications, AI/ML platforms, and major technology changes.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, data, and innovation teams to embed security, privacy, and governance into delivery.
• Establish security controls and guardrails for AI systems and generative AI, including access controls, monitoring, logging, and auditability.
• Support threat mitigation, incident response, forensic investigations, and post-incident architecture improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of directly applicable cybersecurity, infrastructure, or systems architecture experience; senior-level candidates may be considered with 5+ years.
• Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management, encryption, endpoint security, and enterprise security controls.
• Experience translating business requirements into secure technical designs and formal requirements.
• Experience with access controls, DLP, WAF, firewalls, secure SDLC, software security, monitoring, and anomaly detection.
• Ability to work extended and weekend hours, travel as required, and participate in a 7x24 on-call rotation.
• After orientation, proficiency with Microsoft Office, iManage, and other firm applications is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information security, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, Zero Trust, OWASP, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations.
• Experience securing AI-enabled applications, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and automation platforms.
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, cloud security, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and communicating architectural decisions to senior leadership.
