What you will do
- Lead Internal Audit’s data analytics, automation, and technology innovation roadmap.
- Design and maintain SQL-based models for population testing, anomaly detection, trend analysis, and control effectiveness assessment.
- Build fraud surveillance, continuous monitoring dashboards, automated alerts, risk thresholds, and reporting solutions.
- Transform data from warehouses, blockchain sources, and internal systems into audit-ready datasets and quantified findings.
- Apply clustering, predictive modelling, NLP, and automated risk scoring to audit and operational risk use cases.
- Partner with audit, IT, data engineering, and business teams to ensure data access, quality, pipeline reliability, and production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of data analytics experience, including 2 years supporting audit, risk, compliance, or financial control functions.
- Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience building dashboards and visualisations.
- Experience with data warehouse architectures such as Hive, StarRocks, Spark, or similar.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions and audit objectives into structured analytical approaches and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Business proficiency in Chinese and English is required. Familiarity with internal audit methodologies and control frameworks is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
- Blockchain data analysis, on-chain forensics, or crypto-specific analytics tools.
- Understanding of COSO or IIA standards.
- CIA, CISA, Google Data Analytics, AWS Data Analytics, or similar certification.
