Salary: $93,950–$107,000 per year

What you will do
- Assist senior fluids engineers with the operation, maintenance, testing, and upgrades of launch pad propellant and pneumatic systems.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with design engineers, technicians, external partners, customers, and site personnel.
- Support launch pad and flight vehicle system integrity testing to validate system health, performance, and readiness.
- Troubleshoot operational and testing issues, resolve non-conformances, and support anomaly investigations.
- Write procedures and work instructions, develop maintenance strategies, and supervise field work.
- Support launch console operations, launch-day closeout activities, regulatory compliance, and range safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience with fluids, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanism, tooling, flight hardware, or test systems.
- Experience designing, building, troubleshooting, or operating complex fluid or pneumatic systems.
- Ability to create and interpret engineering documentation, drawings, P&ID schematics, and test data.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, adapt to changing requirements, and communicate technical information clearly.
- Comfort working at launch sites with field testing, lifting equipment, and hazardous materials.
