What you will do
- Operate Electron and Neutron ground systems from the launch console during tests, rehearsals, and launches.
- Support the development, integration, commissioning, and testing of launch pad infrastructure, ground support equipment, and facility systems.
- Lead testing campaigns and perform ground system readiness checks.
- Manage configuration and verification of launch pad hardware and facility systems.
- Develop operational procedures, test plans, CONOPS documentation, and emergency response protocols.
- Design and improve HMIs, monitor real-time systems data, and troubleshoot issues during test and launch operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably aerospace, mechanical, electrical, chemical, or mechatronic engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in engineering design, testing, or operations, with a focus on electrical or software engineering.
- Two or more years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Solid practical understanding of fluid, cryogenic, pressurized, and hydraulic systems, hazardous materials, and propellant operations is beneficial for the role.
- For U.S. office work, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations.
Nice to have
- Two or more years of engineering design, testing, or operations experience.
- Experience with launch complex infrastructure, pad systems, or ground support equipment.
- Experience conducting real-time hazardous operations involving propellants or high-pressure gases.
- Experience developing operational procedures, test plans, CONOPS documentation, or emergency response procedures.
