Physical Therapist

Location: Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, United States; worksite and clinical center support required.

Salary: $57,000–$78,000 annually based on 24 hours per week.

What you will do

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy treatment programs.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, manual therapy, modalities, education, and home exercise guidance.
• Coordinate care with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, health coaches, and other staff.
• Document patient services in the electronic medical record and arrange follow-up appointments, screenings, and tests.
• Support the client worksite through body mechanics education, ergonomics, injury prevention, safety information, and wellness initiatives.
• Provide evidence-based resources and training for physical therapy staff and supervise physical therapist assistants when applicable.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited university.
• Current license from the applicable state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation requirements and electronic medical record software in line with state, federal, and APTA guidelines.
• Outpatient experience with adolescent and adult patients.

Nice to have

• Ergonomic training, certification, or experience.
• Strong presentation skills and experience educating people at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and maintain professional communication.
