Lead Platform Services Engineer, Advanced Services - UK (Cloud): Building scalable, repeatable platform services and delivery-readiness frameworks for enterprise storage and cloud products with an accent on operational standardisation, documentation, and cross-functional enablement. Focus on automating service deployment with Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines, designing quality measures and SLAs, and improving operational efficiency through AI-enabled tooling and continuous improvement.

What you will do
- Define the scope, standards, quality measures, SLAs, and operational best practices for platform services.
- Build delivery-readiness frameworks, service readiness criteria, operational documentation, and enablement assets for global releases.
- Partner with Product Engineering, Product, Portfolio, and Delivery teams to operationalise new platform capabilities.
- Lead automation, standardisation, runbooks, tooling, and operational procedures for consistent service deployment at global scale.
- Assess software release impacts, manage documentation and version control, and oversee services engineering lab strategy.
- Lead Platform Services Engineers, drive program governance, and act as a technical subject matter expert for the Implementation Center of Excellence.
Requirements
- Strong experience in product engineering, infrastructure, or cloud environments.
- Understanding of product lifecycles, operational service design, and scalable service models.
- Experience building automation and standardised operational processes using tools such as Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with enterprise storage, cloud, virtualisation, and networking products.
- Strong collaboration, documentation, version control, and operational excellence skills.
- Knowledge or experience with Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
