Genedata Engineer

Location: Remote; colleagues work remotely from all over the world.

What you will do

• Configure, support, and enhance Genedata solutions for small-molecule research.
• Translate chemistry and assay workflows into system configurations and integrations with scientists.
• Build and maintain integrations with scientific and enterprise systems.
• Support data import, export, migration, and processing workflows.
• Develop Python scripts and automation.
• Troubleshoot Genedata applications, integrations, and Linux server environments while improving scientific workflow usability.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with Genedata in a small-molecule environment.
• Background in chemistry, cheminformatics, medicinal chemistry, or drug discovery.
• Strong Python and Linux skills, including server-side troubleshooting.
• Experience with scientific data workflows, integrations, and APIs.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with scientists and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating data between scientific R&D systems.
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with Git and other software development tools.
• Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience.
