Vice President Product Management (Legal)

What you will do

• Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization across a portfolio of Legal Engineering applications.
• Partner with Legal stakeholders and Engineering leads to identify technology-enabled improvements and translate business objectives into scalable solutions.
• Lead the full product lifecycle, including research, requirements definition, solution design, launch planning, adoption, and post-launch monitoring.
• Manage dependencies, trade-offs, competing initiatives, and executive decision-making across the portfolio.
• Drive modernization, simplification, workflow automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across legal platforms.
• Prepare executive communications, business cases, roadmap presentations, and governance updates.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, program management, strategy, transformation, risk management, or technology delivery.
• Experience supporting Legal, Compliance, Risk, Regulatory, or Corporate Governance organizations.
• Experience with legal technology platforms, legal matter management, entity management, litigation support, or contract management applications.
• Ability to translate complex legal or regulatory requirements into scalable technology capabilities and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience managing people, developing talent, and leading teams through complex delivery environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, legal risk management, regulatory processes, data governance, or control frameworks.
• Experience leading product teams supporting enterprise platforms, workflow tools, data products, or AI-enabled capabilities.
• Understanding of engineering delivery models, agile execution, product operations, and stakeholder governance.
• Technical proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, backlog tools, data analysis tools, and product documentation platforms.
