TL;DR
Data Analyst (Data/Business Analysis): Analyzing current and target data structures, documenting mappings and transformations, and defining user stories and requirements for software delivery with an accent on integration design, data quality, and business value. Focus on gathering operational and volumetric requirements, supporting capacity and performance testing, and collaborating with development and testing teams in an agile environment.
Location: Bangalore, India; in-person collaboration is prioritized

What you will do
- Analyze as-is and to-be data structures, including data mapping, cleansing, and transformation requirements.
- Document existing system behavior, integration requirements, system features, and data requirements.
- Write user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and exception processes for hybrid cloud environments.
- Identify business value, operational requirements, and volumetric requirements for capacity models and performance testing.
- Run workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support development and testing teams with test scenarios and test automation approaches.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience as a data business analyst working with software engineers and business subject-matter experts in an agile environment.
- Experience producing data mapping documentation, including data cleansing and transformation criteria.
- Experience writing high-quality user stories and defining acceptance and exception criteria.
- Experience supporting testers with BDD/TDD or similar approaches to test scenarios and automation.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, and with SQL.
Nice to have
- Experience with mainframe and RDBMS platforms.
- Technical experience with private and public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Development.
