Software Engineer, Internship - Production Infrastructure

What you will do

• Own the product lifecycle from idea generation and prototyping through feature delivery and releases.
• Build and improve production infrastructure used by hirify.global platforms and mission-critical workloads.
• Work on Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure spanning hundreds of production clusters.
• Develop secure fleet-wide deployment and change-management capabilities for complex microservice suites through Apollo.
• Build observability and alerting tools through the Signals platform.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, reliability engineers, vendors, and government users to solve customer problems.

Requirements

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and related technical tools.
• Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Must be planning to graduate in 2028; this must be the final internship before graduation.
• Active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US security clearance.
