Director of Engineering - Agentic AI Platform

What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams focused on AI, data science, and platform development.
• Design and implement agentic AI frameworks covering orchestration, tool use, memory, workflow automation, and multi-agent systems.
• Oversee AI/ML and LLM solutions from concept through production, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Establish engineering practices for CI/CD, testing, observability, model lifecycle management, and performance monitoring.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, UX, Data, and Infrastructure teams to define roadmaps and deliver reusable AI services.
• Mentor engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers while communicating execution, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Expert Python skills and hands-on experience with agentic libraries such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or BeeAI.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, fine-tuning, embeddings, vector similarity search, and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with vector and graph databases, SQL/NoSQL systems, ETL pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, serverless deployment, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of secure coding, IAM/RBAC, encryption, prompt-injection mitigation, bias auditing, and AI governance.
• Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field; 5–7 years of AI/ML or software engineering experience and 12+ years leading and developing teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, data science, machine learning, cloud delivery, GenAI, and fintech business experience.
