Sr. Specialist - Platform Operations (AI & Agentic Systems)

Location: Toronto or Philadelphia; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $91,000–$129,000 base pay annually, plus annual bonus or commission and equity.

What you will do

• Manage, scale, and optimize production Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Design and maintain GitOps delivery pipelines with ArgoCD and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenSearch.
• Participate in on-call rotations, conduct blameless post-mortems, and reduce operational toil through automation.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor AI and agentic services, including responsible monitoring of performance, cost, and safety.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve developer onboarding and the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, including workloads, ingress controllers, storage, and networking.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting GitOps workflows with ArgoCD at scale.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, plus strong Bash scripting and proficiency in Go or Python.
• Strong Linux, container runtime, DNS, and TCP/IP fundamentals, with hands-on AWS infrastructure experience.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and tooling, including model integration, agentic frameworks, or AI-driven automation.

Nice to have

• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms with Backstage or using service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd.
• CKA or CKS certification.
• DevOps experience in regulated or financial-services environments.
• Experience deploying or operating AI and agentic applications, including model serving, MLOps, monitoring, or agent orchestration.
• Experience with AI observability, evaluation, and cost or performance optimization.
