European CISO (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead information security management across the assigned European businesses.
• Develop, implement, deliver, and support the regional cyber resilience strategy.
• Manage relationships with business stakeholders, clients, and regulators.
• Lead audit preparation, RFP support, and client information security committee engagement.
• Manage a local team of Information Security Officers and Analysts.
• Assess, analyze, and report information and cyber security risks while improving security culture and maturity.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading an Information Security team or function in financial services.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, COBIT, ISAE 3402, and SOC 2 frameworks.
• Experience with European regulations including GDPR, DORA, and the AI Act.
• Extensive experience managing client and regulator relationships and communicating security risks to stakeholders at all levels.
• Professional Information Security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing and managing ISO 27001 certification.
• Experience delivering compliance with PCI DSS and SWIFT standards.
• Experience leading a small team of Information Security professionals.
